Umrah group transport between Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah

Planning transport for an Umrah group covers three kinds of journey: arrival from the airport, moving between cities, and returning to the airport for departure. This page explains how to plan each part for a group, which vehicles fit different group sizes, and what to send us so we confirm the vehicles and prices before booking.

Choosing the arrival airport

If your group starts with Makkah and arrives by air, it can arrive at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. For the transfer from Jeddah airport to Makkah, send your arrival time and passenger count; we confirm the fare according to the pickup point and trip details before booking, and your driver meets the group at the agreed place and time.

If your group starts with Madinah and arrives by air, it can arrive at Madinah airport. For the transfer from Madinah airport to your hotel, send the arrival time, hotel name, passenger count and luggage; the price for this route is confirmed with your quote.

Splitting the group across vehicles

Approximate capacities, confirmed with your quote:

  • Sedan: up to 4 passengers with two large bags and one small bag.
  • SUV: up to 6 passengers with four large bags.
  • Vans: up to 8 seats.
  • Coaches: 30 and 49 seats.

Match the number of vehicles to passengers and luggage together. For larger groups we check availability across several vehicles and confirm before booking.

Moving between cities

Indicative one-way fares, totals including VAT:

  • Makkah to Madinah: Standard Sedan SAR 991.88, Luxury Sedan SAR 1,388.63, SUV SAR 1,520.88.
  • Jeddah to Madinah: the same categories and fares.
  • Jeddah to Makkah: from SAR 529.00.

Fares include driver, fuel and VAT. Waiting beyond 30 minutes costs extra, and services outside the agreed route need a separate quote. We confirm availability, the vehicle model and the final price before booking.

Planning the departure

For the return to the airport, agree the pickup time with a margin that fits your flight; our Makkah departure guide covers planning the hotel-to-airport journey after Umrah in more detail.

What to send for a group quote

  • Dates and pickup times for each journey.
  • Pickup and destination addresses for each journey.
  • Passenger count and luggage details.
  • Flight numbers for airport pickups.
  • Any additional stops or assistance to check.

You can paste your full itinerary into WhatsApp or send it by email. Availability, vehicle suitability and price are confirmed before booking. Sending a request is not a confirmed booking.

Who provides the trip

MASAR explains the service and its options to the client and connects the request with the operating transport company. The client contracts directly with that company, which delivers the service, collects payment and issues a tax invoice for each trip under ZATCA requirements.
